Term 1 classes and workshops will run from October 9 through November 15.

At this time we know our theme for Term 1 will be examining ways in which we can express ourselves, as individuals and as cultures.

Mondays will be for Douglas College PE classes

Tuesdays will be for workshops – details to come

Wednesdays will be Grades 5-7. This day will be spent doing activities connected to the theme through the lenses of literacy, art and oral expression. Students will also be working on ways to build a positive classroom community.

Thursdays will be a K-1 class and a 2-4 class.

• In K-1, students will explore the theme through activities and centres, enjoy stories and songs together and work on classroom routines and group dynamics; including sharing and listening.
• In 2-4, students will spend the day exploring the theme through activities and literacy and building a positive classroom community.

Fridays will be for field trips. More details to come.

We will send out a class sign up in late August.
