Invitation – Parent Social Media Education Session

The session, Raising Digitally Responsible Youth, is intended to provide parents with the knowledge they need to protect their children from cyberbullying and other online thrreats, and teach them responsible and appropriate use of technology. Topics will include current social media apps and trends, research on brain development and technology, the long-lasting impact of “digital footprints”, and tips and tricks to use at home.

This session is best suited for parents of children currently in Grades 4 through 9.

When: April 26th, 2018 at 7:00pm (Doors open at 6:30pm) This is a 90 minute presentation with a 30 minute Q & A period.

There is space for 60 parents. The RSVP deadline is Monday, April 23rd.
