This year has been extraordinary for Home Quest. It has been challenging but it has also been wonderful in many ways. Thank you to the many families who joined our program and to all of this year’s Home Quest teachers who stepped in to make this such a successful Transition plan.

At this time, the Ministry of Education is not providing a 2021-22 Transition plan to address any COVID concerns families may have. Therefore, next year, Home Quest will return to its “normal” program in the 2021-2022 school year with in-person (not virtual) weekly classes for K-7 and a blended program for 8-9.

If the Ministry of Education, in concert with the Provincial Health Officer, mandates a Transition plan is needed for 2021-2022, the Delta District will set up a separate program, outside of Home Quest. In other words, Home Quest will not be attached to a Transition plan if one is required.

Families who wish to continue with Home Quest next year are doing so with the commitment to a year of our pre-COVID programming. Our numbers are such that Home Quest registrations will close for the 2021-2022 school year at the end of day on Monday, April 19. All requests that come after Monday will be put onto to a waitlist.
