DESCRIPTION:Students in Grades K to 9 are invited to join us for a field trip to the Britannia Mine Museum\, located at 1 Forbes Way\, Britannia Beach\, BC. We have organized 3 different tours divided into grade groups; a description of each tour session is attached. \nK – 2: Copper Quest\, Mineral Detectives\, Lunch\, Gold Quest 3 – 5: Copper Quest\, Mineral Detectives\, Lunch\, Gold Quest 6 – 9: Volcanic Origins\, Legacies\, Stakeholders\, Lunch \nWe will meet at 10:15 a.m. at the museum on Tuesday\, February 18\, 2020. The field trip will be supervised by Home Quest staff and parent volunteers. Students should be dressed for the weather. It is cold year round in the tunnel and mill. Their guides recommend layering and sturdy footwear. For wet weather days they recommend rain gear. Please bring only small backpacks\, as they have limited storage on site\, and a bag lunch. Home Quest pays for each enrolled student and 1 parent per family. \n\nBritannia Mine Permission Form
