DESCRIPTION:Students in Grades K to 5 are invited to join us for a field trip to the Fort Langley National Historic Site\,\nlocated at 23433 Mavis Avenue in Fort Langley. After reading “Helen’s Surprise”—the story of a family\nwho lived at Fort Langley along the Fraser River in the 1800s—your class will receive a letter from Helen inviting you to come explore where the story took place. Although Helen herself won’t be there\,\nfacilitators dressed in period costume will help you discover how cultures change over time through a\nseries of mini-adventures: trying on costumes\, feeling furs\, watching the blacksmith at work\, learning\nabout native plants\, rolling barrels\, and panning for gold. \n  \nFort Langley Permission Form is here.

DESCRIPTION:Students in Grades K to 9 are invited to join us for a field trip to the Eagle Acres Dairy Farm and\nPumpkin Patch\, located at 8796 240 Street (Rawlison Cres.) in Langley. Hands on is the focus of our\n‘Dairy Classic’ program! The 90 minute fully guided tour moves through four stages of farm chores\nkeeping even the youngest visitors engaged. Hand milk a cow\, make butter\, feed the cows\, visit the\nsmall animals\, sample chocolate milk and take home an activity book. \n  \nFollowing the tour\, each child is invited to choose a pumpkin from the bin before leaving.
