We have arranged a field trip for students in Grades K – 9 on Wednesday December 15, 2021. The program has a maximum or 25 students per group and we have scheduled 3 groups. You can choose which group you would like to be in for each session time.

The timeline is as follows:

• 9:30am Arrival at Base
• 10:00 Skyride to Alpine Station
• Choice of Activity 1 (45 minutes)
• Choice of Activity 2 (45 minutes)
• Lunch
• Choice of Activity 3 (45 minutes)
• 2:00 Skyride to Base

Peak of Christmas – includes sleigh rides, visit to the reindeer habitat, a peek at Santa in his workshop

Snow Play – includes tag, a maze, making snow angels and exploring wildlife. Snowball target practice and snowman building also included

Skating – rental skates are included to enjoy the outdoor skating arena

Snowshoe – snowshoe rental is included. This is a guided snowshoe trail that will fit into the 45-minute time frame

First Nations Presentation – learn about Indigenous cultures and ceremonies in the Long House

The total cost for this field trip is $25 per person. Home Quest will cover the cost of $15 for each student and 1 accompanying adult and $10 for each student and adult will be taken from the family’s funding (or families can pay the $10 per person with cash or cheque). Any additional participant will be responsible for paying $25.

This trip is “rain, shine or snow”, please dress for the weather! Please meet at he base of Grouse Mountain at 9:30am on December 15.
